Why do I do this???

I always seem to wait so long between posts that I have LOTS to share!!  So, here goes.

Six of my sewing buddies and I went to Quilt Week in Paducah, KY.  We had an AWESOME time.  But I only got one picture of the seven of us together.  Dinner at Cheddars after visiting Hancock's of Paducah the day we arrived.

Most of them are now on retreat.

DH and I are going on a long weekend glamping trip to celebrate our anniversary (45 years) so I didn't go on this one.

I finished another one for my PHD list.  This one has been only 16 years in the making.  DD and I planned the fabrics for this one while she was expecting her first born.  It was from a Leisure Arts publication dated 1997.

If DD has no plans for it, I will donate it to Project LInus.

And, finally, my design wall for the first half of the month of May.  I have been joining Prairie Moon Quilts each month for the 350 Blocks challenge.

From left, my leader/ender, then block 6 of My Favorite Color Is Moda (they count it as one block-I'm counting it as 16), on the right are the final 5 blocks of Weave It Be, and the ones on the bottom are blocks 7, 8 and 9 (3) of MFCIM.

So, off we go in the motorhome in the morning.  We are visiting an old friend of DH.  They haven't seen each other in almost 50 years.  I have made the friend an unofficial QOV.  Will give it to him while we are there.

Wishing you more stitchin time than I will have.

You and your buddies look like you were having a great time - what fun! That is a cute baby quilt, I know you are happy to have it done. Congratulations on your 45 years and have fun on your glamping trip.

BooBoo’s crib quilt turned out PERFECT! Too bad she hasn’t been in a crib in 15 years. But, she wants to find someone special to give the special quilt to! 🫶🏻
