Another week, Another flimsy

I'm happy to say that I have completed the third flimsy.

This is made from seven ocean scene panels.  A friend and I purchased a bolt in April of last year that contained 15 panels which was cheaper than each of us buying seven panels each.  The borders were trimmed from the panels and sewn together to create the borders for the completed quilt top.  I think I even have enough of left to make the binding.

I can now start the Quiltworx placemats that I purchased for practice before I begin Jungle Magnolia.

I still have the fourth UFO and I will continue to work on the hand applique on that one.

I hope I have something to show next week.

Until next time, wishing you more stitchin time than I will have.

Nice job on your ocean scene. I admire them but have no interest in making one! Keep going with your projects -- the ones I've seen are lovely!

This is so lovely. Great job in using all the hexagons.
