Another Flimsy

I had a goal to get several UFOs completed before the end of the year.  I didn't make it but I'm working really hard to get the done ASAP.  I have a Quiltworx pattern that I purchased on Valentine's Day 2025 that I want to start.  I know it's going to take concentration and dedication to complete, thus the need to get these others out of the way.

This one was a kit purchased at Current River Fabrics in Doniphan, Missouri, which is where we observed the total solar eclipse in 2024.  Having a quilt shop within walking distance of the campground was such a treat.

My "to be quilted" list is growing quickly.

Only two more to go.  Working on borders of one and the other isn't going to be completed before the new project is started because it has handwork to be done and I have to climb that 10-foot brick wall to get that done.

Until next time...Wishing you more stitchin time than I will have.

My Part is Finished

My first finish of the year.  At least my part is done.

You see....I have a friend that has a longarm, but she calls herself the pantograph queen.  Until she brought this quilt to me, she had never quilted from the front side of her longarm.

She made this Deb Tucker pattern and stated that it was her favorite quilt so far.  She said it deserved more than a pantograph.  AND she wants to enter it in a show.  AND she wants me to quilt it.  AARRGGHH!!!!

Now, just so you know, I don't consider myself a quilt show worthy quilter.  I hope I did it justice and that she is happy with my work.

Here a few pictures.

Until next time...

Wishing you more stitchin time than I will have.

Thanks for visiting.

Long time in the making

This will be a very short post.

This project was started January 24, 2024.  Two years later it's still not finished but it is ready for quilting.

You may be tired of seeing it.  I promise it will be a while before you see it again.  My quilting queue is quite long.

Here it is in all its glory.  And if I haven't told you before, the only fabric purchased for this quilt was the gray background.  The rest was constructed from scraps.

Thanks for visiting.

Until next time, wishing you more stitchin time than I will have.
